When getting dressed in the morning, most people take a look in the mirror to see if their chosen outfit looks good on them. Though they may think they look hip and/or fabulous, there are current fashion trends that are fading quickly, which will inevitably force some individuals to restock their closets.

In the past, white T-shirts were used as undershirts f or nicer shirts, like button-ups and polos. But in 2006, white T-shirts are used as the dress shirts. Not only are the shirts often used as outfits' centerpieces, they are long enough to be dresses. Since when does a white shirt reaching past a guy's knees look presentable? Try tucking the shirt in and putting something creative on.

For some reason, there is a popular trend of people looking like slobs when they go out for a night on the town. While at a bar or club, guys can be seen unshaven and wearing stained clothes. Girls can be seen looking just as bad with their hair in ponytails and T-shirts on. The purpose of going out is not only to have fun, but also to meet new people. No one wants to meet people who look like they spent a night down on the Rail Trail.

In this group, many people with boyfriends and girlfriends tend to think they don't need to dress up because they already have someone. Wrong. Even if you're taken, your partner doesn't want to party with a slob.

Also, even if you are dating someone, the friends you are with are most likely single and on the prowl. When going out, put on a nice outfit, fix your hair and try to look like you give a damn.

Like a close friend once told me, "Matching doesn't mean you have style." Like me, most people like to match different parts of an outfit. For guys, we like for our sneakers and hats to match our outfits and girls like their accessories to match accordingly. While matching is generally good, over-matching is bad. Over-matching involves everything from shoes and socks to earrings and undershirts that match in exact color. Stick with simple schemes, and you'll be a winner.
