2006 Audi A4 Quatro ZERO DOWN $369/mo; 20056 Audi A3 $25,460 High Performance Peace of Mind By Melissa J. PhillipsStar correspondentThe Zionsville girls soccer team had been waiting since Aug. 31 to get the opportunity to avenge a 4-3 loss to Noblesville. The Eagles also had been waiting since 1995 to celebrate a sectional championship.

Saturday night, they celebrated both. The rejoicing began as soon as the final horn sounded and they had officially defeated the Millers 2-0 to claim the Hamilton Southeastern Sectional title."That was something that was awesome to be a part of," Zionsville coach said."Obviously, it was a goal of ours to be able to do this. We wanted to avenge the loss earlier in the season to Noblesville, and when it happened, the girls just went crazy . . . jumping up and down, singing, and all that."The celebrating didn't end on the bus ride home; it was just beginning."The bus ride back -- same thing," Kluba said. "They were cheering and having a good time. We were met by the Zionsville Fire Department and they led us through town with the sirens on to have an escort into town."The celebration was well earned because they had won one of the state's toughest sectionals, which included No. 1 Carmel, No. 3 Noblesville and No.14 Hamilton Southeastern. Now, says Kluba, it's crucial that the Eagles don't overlook any of their upcoming opponents."No matter who we wind up playing down the road here, you've got to respect the teams," Kluba said. "The level of soccer around Indiana . . . the parity is so much more apparent every year, this year more than ever."Now, the Eagles are preparing for Greenfield-Central (12-6), which defeated New Palestine 2-1 Saturday. Zionsville hosts the Cougars at 7 p.m. Wednesday."At the end of the bus ride, we said, 'Girls, we've got two more rides just like this,' " Kluba said."That was the consensus; enjoy it (Saturday), and Monday at 4:30 we're going to start practicing again. It's back to the seriousness of winning a game on Wednesday."
